Childcare Responsibilities Ensuring the safety, well-being, and age-appropriate development of the children at all times while on duty Supervising and engaging the children in enriching activities such as reading, crafts, music, outdoor play, and imaginative play Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks for the children three times per day, with two healthy snacks and two bottles of breastmilk or cow’s milk daily (as age-appropriate) Assisting with bottle-feeding, diapering, and potty training in line with developmental stages Managing the children’s nap schedules as directed by the parents Ensuring at least 90 minutes of outdoor time each day, weather permitting, while using appropriate protective gear (e.g., sunscreen, jackets), which will be provided by the parents Cleaning and organizing children’s play areas and bedrooms on a daily basis Washing, folding, and organizing children’s laundry Transporting the children only with prior parental consent, using a vehicle approved by the parents (either the family car or the maternal grandmother’s vehicle), and utilizing proper car seats as provided by the parents Never releasing the children to anyone (including relatives, friends, or neighbors) without the parents' direct authorization Escorting the children to and from classes or scheduled activities when requested Providing a daily update via text or email to the parents, summarizing the children’s day, including meals, naps, and notable events; at least one photo or video per day is encouraged, though not required. Behavioral Guidance The Nanny shall follow the family’s preference for gentle and respectful discipline. Under no circumstances shall the children be physically punished or touched with force for any reason. Behavioral redirection, verbal communication, and age-appropriate consequences are to be used in alignment with the parents’ values. Domestic and Household Support Cleaning and maintaining any dishes, bottles, and utensils used during the day by the children and/or the nanny, including operating the dishwasher as needed Wiping down tables, countertops, and sweeping or vacuuming under dining areas after childrens meals. Assisting with general organization and light tidying of the home as it relates to childcare activities (e.g., packing for the children’s trips, organizing closets or drawers in their room) Keeping her own bedroom and bathroom clean and presentable at all times
