*RFI Response 1. Details of the fabrication process, the materials used, and how the worker will contribute to the process: • 3-4 workers roll out 1350 sq ft PVC liner material on fabrication floor • Working from templates taken from tank floor and walls, workers will mark liner with grease pencils and cut with heavy-duty scissors • Bundle cut sheets on pallets • From template, 2 workers will use a Radio Frequency (RF) bar seamer to fuse and join pieces together to form shape of tank floor and walls while other workers pull and position liner • Workers will fold and roll finished pieces onto 4’ x 8’ pallet and wrap using stretch film wrap to prepare for storage and shipping • Worker must inspect material for scuffs or punctures to prep for installation 2. The installation process in its entirety and how the worker will contribute to the process: • Clean steel tank by sweeping and clearing debris using brooms • Insert 8 oz and 16 oz Non-Woven Geotextile fabric rolls, which measure 15’ wide and have a linear length of 150’, weighing approximately 300 lbs each into tank • Join together 16oz geotextile material on floor using heat guns • Erect scaffolding inside tank to cover walls with 8oz geotextile material • Apply J bolts to tank using watchets, nuts and washers • Will insert PVC pipe into liner hem and operate winches to lift wall liner • Seam-seal wall and floor pieces using a portable RF bar seamer • Inspect liner for tears or punctures and patch liner if necessary 3.
