  Shovel snow, grounds maintenance, such as litter cleanup and winterization of irrigation systems, and other duties as assigned related to facilities and roads maintenance, such as clearing roads and facilities of sticks, leaves, snow, or related debris. Workers will not drive plow trucks. Workers will use hand tools, such as shovels and snow brooms, as well as powered hand held equipment such as walk behind electric or gas snow blowers. Potential for fall and spring clean-up, including raking, mulching, and composting of leaves, removal of dead plant material, perennial plant cutbacks, landscape bed mulching, and dormant pruning from the ground level. De-icing and removal of snow from walks, driveways and parking lots for various residential and commercial properties, using hand tools such as snow brooms, shovels, and spreading deicing solutions, including calcium chloride or rock salt by hand. May also use walk behind electric or gas snow blowers, as needed. Will not drive snow plow truck. May drive crew vehicle. No driver’s license is required as a condition of employment for the position. If the prospective worker already possesses a standard, noncommercial driver’s license they may be asked to drive a vehicle to job sites, as needed.
