  Clear snow on parking lots and driveways, using hand tools such as shovels, snow brooms, or snow blowers. Perform grounds maintenance, such as litter cleanup, and other duties as assigned related to facilities maintenance such as clearing roads and facilities of leaves, snow, or debris using hand tools or power equipment including but not limited to rakes, shovels, and snow/leaf blowers. Irrigation system winterization and activation. Potential for fall and spring leaf clean-up from yards and beds using hand tools and powered blowers, dormant pruning, leaf removal and landscape bed mulching. De-icing and removal of snow from walks, driveways and parking lots for various residential and commercial properties, using hand tools such as snow brooms, shovels, and spreading de-icing solutions, including calcium chloride or rock salt by hand. May also use walk behind electric or gas snow blowers, as needed. May drive crew vehicle. No driver’s license is required as a condition of employment for the position. If the prospective worker already possesses a standard, noncommercial driver’s license they may be asked to drive a vehicle to job sites or to clear snow using standard work truck weighing less than 9,000 pounds equipped with a front plow and rear salters, as necessary.
