Landscape or maintain golf course grounds using hand or power tools/equipment such as weed whackers, trimmers, San pros, and edgers. Mows golf greens, tees and fairways; works on the ground to prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges using shears, pruners, or chain saws; removes cuttings. Waters plants; cuts grass, weeds and bushes; rakes leaves; spreads fertilizer. Mulch beds around golf course. Collects and empties trash receptacles; cleans gutters, drains and culverts. Maintains maintenance and fluid use logs (gas and oil) on equipment. Cleans and inspects equipment after each use; reports equipment problems to supervisor. Makes minor adjustments to equipment as needed, by hand or with hand tools. Loads and unloads materials by hand or using a cart. Operates a golf cart or golf utility vehicle for various course maintenance needs. Other similar job-related duties as assigned. The employer will offer a minimum of 40 hours per week. Business is open 7 days a week. Scheduled workdays vary Sunday through Saturday, including holidays. Shifts: 6am-4:30pm; 6am-2:30pm, 6am-12:00pm and 6am-10am. Each 8 hr+ shift includes 30 minutes unpaid break time. Workdays, hours, and shift time may vary with business needs. The employer may increase wage based on experience, market conditions, and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. Holiday bonus pay is possible. Employee will receive a $10 meal allowance for every shift worked which is added to their paycheck. Overtime may be available. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours in a workweek. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at $26.63 per hour. The employer will provide a bicycle for daily transportation to and from the worksite.
