A variety of duties for snow removal using hand tools and equipment such as ice picks, shovels, small snow skidder, snow blowers, and salt spreaders. Operate vehicles with plow and/or salt spreading attachments to clear snow/ice from driveways, parking lots, and other surfaces and other related snow shoveler activities. The employer will offer 40 hours of work per week. Normal schedule Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm. Shift includes a 60-minute unpaid break. Work on Saturdays and Sundays may be required depending on weather conditions and needs of the business. All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described for the entire specified time period. Must show proof of legal authorization to work in the U.S. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Basic rate of pay: $16.47 per hour. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at $24.71 per hour. Employer may increase wage based on experience, changes in market conditions, and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. Hours may fluctuate. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours in a work week. Workers will be provided with on-the-job training to perform the duties assigned. Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid bi-weekly. Employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law. The employer will provide daily transportation from housing to and from the main worksite, and among all worksite locations.
