***RFI Response*** "Issue" Sales Floor Merchandise "Issue" refers to the process of making sales floor merchandise available for customer purchase. This includes placing merchandise in designated locations, maintaining display integrity, and ensuring items are accessible to customers. However, the employer has provided examples of the merchandise, including perennials, annuals, hanging baskets, and vegetable plants. The farm market receives multiple plant deliveries daily and often picks up plants from local greenhouses by the truckload. These plants must be unloaded and placed in their designated locations on the property. Steps for "Issuing" Merchandise The steps include unpacking merchandise from storage, ensuring items are in saleable condition, arranging them in displays, and replenishing stock as needed. Type of Setting and Merchandise The setting is a retail farm market. Merchandise includes perennials, annuals, hanging baskets, vegetable plants, and other related items. Check and Mark Merchandise This refers to verifying the inventory against shipment documentation and marking items with price labels or inventory tags to ensure accurate stocking and pricing. "Store" Merchandise and Tools Used Merchandise is stored in designated stockrooms or backroom areas. Employees may use carts, dollies, and hand trucks to transport items to and from storage areas. Pack customer purchases in bags or cartons. Receive, open, unpack and issue sales floor merchandise. Keep a clean display in the retail area. Use the cash register. Transport packages to customers' vehicles. Landscaping 37-3011: Clean facilities or sites. Dispose of trash or waste materials. Mow/maintain grass.
