  ***RFI Response*** Housekeepers’ primary duty with respect to laundry is carrying all dirty linens, towels, robes, duvets, blankets, soiled rags and mop heads to the laundry area and loading the machines. Housekeepers will occasionally operate laundry machines as part of their monthly and annual deep clean tasks to assist Laundry Attendants or when Laundry Attendants are not available. Housekeepers will also occasionally assist with removing stains from linens (using a spray stain remover) and folding towels and sheets. Otherwise, Laundry Attendants or Housekeeping Supervisors are responsible for most sorting, loading, operation of equipment, and stain treatment. The duties related to deep cleaning of property can be clarified as follows: Weekly deep cleaning duties include wiping down baseboards and corners to remove dust buildup, cleaning air vents and light fixtures, washing windows with towel and window cleaner and wiping down windowsills, sanitizing walls and doors to remove marks or fingerprints, scrubbing grout in showers, and detailing furniture (polishing, spot removal, etc.). Monthly deep cleaning duties include cleaning behind/under furniture, replacing furniture/decor covers with freshly laundered covers, removing stains from carpets or upholstery, sanitizing mattresses by vacuuming and treating them with fabric or upholstery cleaner, and reporting any maintenance issues like replacing HVAC filters & paint touch ups. Annual deep cleaning duties include cleaning ceilings, floors, walls, baseboards, under & all sides of furniture in the bathroom, bedroom, living area, balcony, patio or deck, replacing all decor items in the room with freshly cleaned/laundered versions (pillow shams, furniture covers, carpets, etc.), and washing inside of all closets, cabinets, appliances. The products, tools, and equipment used for deep cleans are as follows: vacuum, mop, Ecolab cleaning products, bleach, dusting tools, and deep cleaning solutions for carpets and upholstery. ***Original F.a.2*** Housekeepers will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all rooms, suites, and indoor common areas at Bluebird Dennisport’s property, which includes vacuuming floors, dusting, replenishing linens and towels, running laundry to the laundry area, loading washing machines, folding laundry, disinfecting bathrooms, and washing windows, including window frames and glass, using glass cleaner and microfiber rags or paper towels. Communicate maintenance or security needs in a timely manner to appropriate manager or supervisor. Housekeepers will also need to do weekly, monthly, and annual deep cleaning of property. Housekeepers will need to lift and carry up to 35 pounds and go up and down stairs. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 7:00am to 2:00pm, 8:30am to 3:30pm, or 9:00am to 4:00pm. Shift hours may vary.
