***RFI Response*** This is a traveling mobile food unit used for fairs and special events. Duties include- Employees will be responsible for setting up food stand at beginning of each event- unhooking trailer, leveling trailer with leveling jacks, washing outside, setting up banners and flags on trailer, setting up the food trays, bowls, cups, silverware, adding oil to fryers, opening the serving windows, restocking trailer with food supplies from the stock truck. Employees will be trained on running cash register. Employees must be able to communicate well with others, multitask- putting together more than 1 order at a time, take orders from customers and able to count money and give change. Employees will be responsible for preparing and handing out drink (soda, water, slushies, coffee),preparing certain foods such as warming corn and gravy in microwave, mixing instant potatoes and funnel cake mix, cooking roast in oven set to 350 degrees for 5 hrs, frying pre packaged frozen foods in fryer such as fries, mac n cheese bites, corn dogs, cheese curds, pickles, funnel cakes and funnel fingers for the allotted time set by timer. Employees will be responsible for taking food temps hourly and writing them down on temp sheet. Employees will be responsible for keeping counters and workspace clean and doing dishes throughout the day. Employees must be able to prepare the food orders from customers by placing the foods in the proper container either food tray or bowls and hand them out to the customer in a timely and professional manner. Employees will be responsible for setting up camper (sleeping area)at each event- unhooking and leveling. Employees will be responsible for tear down at end of each event-remove banners and flags put cups, bowls, food trays away for traveling down road. Employees must be able to lift 50 lbs. Employees must be able to speak and read English fluently.
