A live-in nanny to provide and assist with the care and development of two children, aged 7 and 2. The primary job responsibilities are: •Caregiving: Waking, feeding, dressing, and grooming the children. Providing socio-emotional support to the children, including active listening, encouragement, and empathy. Maintaining sleep and nap schedule. Creating and maintaining rules for a safe and child-appropriate environment. •School transportation: Waiting for children at the bus stop or driving them to school or other extracurricular activities. •Homework assistance: Preparing and implementing a school routine. Supervising and assisting with reading, writing and other homework. •Household duties: Cleaning up after children, tidying their rooms, doing laundry, and organizing their clothes and toys. Dusting or vacuuming children's rooms, once per week, or as needed. •Meal preparation: Cooking for the children, preparing school lunch/snacks, and assisting with age-appropriate feeding. •Activities: Plan and supervise fun activities for kids, like playdates, outings, or educational games. Planning and organizing activities like arts and crafts, singing, and reading. •Overnight supervision: Providing supervision if parents are away from home or working a night shift. •Other chores: Running occasional errands, such as grocery shopping, or purchasing children's clothing or school items, if needed. Store errands are limited to twice per week. •Communication: Establishing and maintaining good communication with parents at all times, respecting and adapting to the preferences and needs of parents regarding discipline, routines, activities, and living or travel arrangements.
