Job Overview: Temporary, full-time position for 4 servers. Typically one to two days off per week. Schedule will vary based on business needs. Must be available evenings, weekends, and some holidays 2 shifts, typically: 11:30am - 4pm and 4pm - 10pm, on a rotating basis. Shifts will not exceed 7-8 hours; 35-40 hours per week. Overtime may be possible but it is not guaranteed. We're seeking friendly, energetic servers to join our restaurant team. You'll provide excellent customer service while taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring guests have a great dining experience. Key Duties: Greet and welcome guests to their tables Take accurate food and beverage orders Answer menu questions and make recommendations Serve food and drinks properly and promptly Process payments and make correct change Keep tables clean and reset for next guests Help maintain cleanliness of dining area Work with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy Handle multiple tables at once Assist other servers when needed Physical Requirements: Able to stand and walk for entire shift Must be able to carry trays of food/drinks Lift up to 30 pounds Move quickly through restaurant while carrying items Benefits: Competitive pay plus tips Flexible scheduling Employee meal program Training provided Opportunity for growth Working Environment: Fast-paced restaurant setting Team-oriented atmosphere Regular interaction with customers Indoor work environment The employer will use a single workweek to compute wages due and workers will be paid on each Friday, by check. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the work location. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for workers most reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a workers voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 p/day during travel to a maximum of $59 p/day with receipts. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. H-2B workers will be provided with reimbursement by company check during the first workweek for visa, visa processing and related costs, except passport costs. All deductions required by law will be deducted weekly. No previous experience required - we will train friendly, reliable candidates who show enthusiasm for customer service.
