  This individual will directly supervise, motivate, train and coordinate activities of workers engaged in landscaping or grounds keeping activities. Direct activities of workers who perform duties, such as landscaping, cultivating lawns, or pruning trees and shrubs. Inspect completed work to ensure conformance to specifications, standards, and contract requirements. Train workers in landscaping tasks. On top of supervisory responsibilities, a supervisor will perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: landscaping or maintaining grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment, sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units.
