  Duties will include: Adjust, repair, maintain, service, set up and disassemble potato production equipment. This includes harvesters, planters, sprayers, seed cutters, pilers, seed storage, combines, sprayers, trailers, loaders, excavators, irrigation injection pumps, pivots, conveyors, potato washline equipment, tillage, pickups, field trucks and other farm equipment. Perform basic welding or fabrication functions on the farm equipment. Observe and listen to potato production machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions. Operate farm equipment to troubleshoot issues and ensure that it is ready for use. Operate sprayer as required. Calibrate equipment as necessary. Record parts information and inventory of parts used. Record maintenance being conducted. Perform safety checks on farm equipment. Operating a farm provided work pickup or service vehicle in order to drive to the field/farming location or to pickup/deliver parts to the farming operation. Full time supervision is provided and all tools are provided at no cost. Workers must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time and work in extreme temperatures. Lifting objects up to 50 lbs., bending, twisting, and stooping regularly will be required.
