  Duties may include: Assist with daily farm functions including but not limited to the following: operate various equipment, for planting, spraying, cultivating, fertilizing and harvesting of crops. Maintain machinery. Maintain flood and sprinkler irrigation systems. Grain handling. Maintain farm grounds/mow. Other miscellaneous duties assigned. This job involves manual labor, lifting, carrying, long days in the heat. Rain days are typically spent in the shop repairing equipment and preparing for the next days’ work & other related Ag Equipment Operator activities as per SOC/OES 45-2091 (onetonline.org). Crops: corn, cotton, sorghum, wheat Possible weekend/holiday work. The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate.
