• Offer description:

  Workers will move cattle from milo stalks to calving pastures beginning in December. Duties will include feeding and watering cattle, maintaining feed and watering equipment, inspecting cattle for illness or injuries, administering medications and vaccinations, maintaining winter grazing fences, and preparing ranch barns and grounds for freezing temperatures. Workers will also open frozen water tanks, perform snow removal, and maintain access to livestock areas. Calving operations will begin in late January and continue through March, including assisting with calving, moving newborn calves into sheds to protect them from freezing temperatures, and pregnancy checking. Additional duties will include cleaning barns, branding cattle, mixing feed and supplements, and hauling hay for livestock feed. Moving cattle to summer pastures late March. No CDL Required and no commercial truck driving required.
