Worker will load, weigh, and maintain stored agricultural products and perform equipment and facility maintenance in support of the farm operation. Primary duties include, but are not limited to: Operate forklift to load trucks with frozen palletized horseradish from storage. Operate hay squeeze to load trucks with alfalfa bales from storage. Weigh loaded trucks at scales; complete and maintain weight tickets, load paperwork, and inventory records of all product loaded. Operate front end loader for snow removal on farm premises. Operate road grader for winter maintenance of farm roads. Perform inspections of farm buildings during inclement weather. Worker will perform off-season basic maintenance on farm equipment; repair implements in preparation for the upcoming season; service, organize, and store tools and supplies; perform basic maintenance on farm vehicles; equip vehicles with tools for the upcoming season; maintain maintenance records for vehicles, trucks, and trailers; and inventory tools and supplies needed for the upcoming season. Equipment used includes: forklift (loading horseradish trucks), hay squeeze (loading hay trucks), front end loader (snow removal), road grader, pickup trucks, and semi-trucks. Employer assures that all transportation-related time after workers clock in will be compensated, including actual driving time, processing paperwork, trips to the gas station, and cleaning the vehicle. Daily duties may vary depending on storage and weather conditions. The employer reserves the right to increase workers' pay or provide bonuses based on tenure, performance, or other factors that are solely based on the discretion of the employer.
