Job duties include seasonal land preparation work on property being converted to cattle grazing use. Following timber harvest operations, the worker will perform post-logging cleanup and site restoration, including windrowing and removal of debris, mulching, raking and controlled burning of approved material, and removal or leveling of stumps. Duties also include repairing and grading access roads and skid trails, addressing rutting and erosion areas, compacting and smoothing soil, and preparing fields for pasture establishment through mowing, herbicide application, prescribed burning, and disking and harrowing. The position further includes installation of agricultural infrastructure such as perimeter fencing, cross fencing for rotational grazing systems, and gates. Daily duties may vary depending on weather and field conditions.
