Job requires performing agricultural construction, maintenance, and equipment support duties directly related to the employer's operation. Workers will fabricate, construct, install, repair, and maintain metal gates, latches, corrals, and working facilities by measuring, cutting, fitting, and welding steel pipe and related materials. Workers will drive pipe posts using hydraulic post-driving equipment, install top rails and livestock panels, and maintain agricultural structures used in the employer's operation. Workers will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on agricultural machinery, farm vehicles, trailers, and hay production equipment used exclusively in the employer's farming operation. Duties include inspecting equipment for wear, replacing damaged or worn components, servicing tires, wheel bearings, and trailer brakes, replacing wooden truck beds used for farm operations, repairing and rewiring agricultural trailers, and performing other mechanical maintenance necessary to keep agricultural equipment in safe operating condition. Job requires operating snow removal equipment to clear snow from driveways, access roads, and equipment paths. Sand or salt may be applied to maintain safe walking and driving conditions around work zones. Timely snow removal is essential to prevent disruption in daily operations.
