Livestock Care: Feed, water, and monitor the health of cattle, ensuring they receive proper nutrition and care. Assist with calving, including monitoring cows during birth and providing necessary support. Administer medications and vaccinations as directed to maintain cattle health. Herd and move cattle between pastures, for veterinary care, and for transport. Farm Machinery Operation: Drive and operate farm machinery to support cattle farming operations, such as feeding, haying, and cleaning. Attach and detach farm implements and equipment as needed for various tasks. Set up, calibrate, and optimize equipment to ensure efficient operation. Equipment and Facility Maintenance: Perform general lubrication and service checks (e.g., check fluids) on farm machinery. Conduct mechanical repairs to ensure machinery and equipment operate efficiently. Maintain and repair fencing, barns, and other facilities used in cattle farming. Manual Labor: Perform various manual labor tasks including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the farm environment, facilities, and equipment. Assist with general farm duties such as repairing structures, maintaining water supplies, and handling waste management. Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all local and federal regulations regarding work hours, breaks, and safety protocols.
