Harvesting soybeans and corn. Operations include running a grain cart, semi-truck/trailer, and fall tillage. It will also include hauling grain and soybeans from the bin to the elevator. We are a 6500 acre crop farm. Growing wheat, soybeans and corn. Our equipment consists of late model Case IH machines. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: apply products such as fertilizers, pesticides, growth inhibitors, etc; attach/detach implements; be able to handle working in high humidity; clean work areas; load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations or facilities; load and unload materials and commodities; load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields; maintain grounds and landscaping; maintain inventory; mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery; operate self propelled machinery; record information about crops; repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; set up repair, maintain, and operate specialized equipment; tilling soil, transplanting, weeding, thinning, pruning crops; use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools; weigh containers and record weights and identifying information and work in extreme temperatures. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: air seeders, augers, bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, combines or other harvesting equipment, dirt moving equipment, GPS guidance systems, grain carts, mowers and other landscaping equipment, pickups, cars, etc, planters, self-propelled machinery, semi trucks, sprayers, tillage equipment, tractor/trailer combinations, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: corn, soybeans, wheat. Must have good understanding and skills on CaseIH monitors Pro700+ and Pro1200. As well as being a quick learner. While not necessary a CDL license is preferred. Must speak and understand English.
