Perform general crop farm labor associated with the employer’s grain farming operation producing wheat, soybeans, and corn. Operate tractors and agricultural equipment used in farm operations, including equipment used for tillage. Load and haul farm-produced grain to local elevators and grain storage areas. Perform routine maintenance on agricultural equipment in preparation for seasonal farm operations and help maintain the integrity of the farm. Wash and clean agricultural equipment and assist with cleaning grain storage areas. Perform grain handling activities associated with the employer’s grain farming operation. As needed during winter weather conditions, clear snow from farm access areas, grain storage areas, and farm work locations to maintain access for agricultural operations. Perform general farm labor related to the employer’s grain farming operation and preparation for the upcoming growing season. Work hours may vary based on weather, crop conditions, and operational demands during the season. Workers will operate agricultural equipment and perform trucking and hauling duties associated with the farm’s grain operations. Duties are performed during the requested seasonal employment period from fall through spring when the farm experiences an increased need for agricultural labor due to grain handling activities, winter weather conditions, equipment maintenance, and preparation for seasonal farm operations. Employees will be provided with adequate breaks, including meal and rest periods, consistent with applicable Federal, State, and local law, during the course of each workday.
