The worker will perform general farm and ranch labor on a small grains and livestock operation. Primary duties include caring for livestock raised on the farm, including horses kept as part of the farm's animal operation. Duties include feeding animals daily, moving and handling livestock, monitoring livestock health and wellbeing, and maintaining fencing and corrals used to keep animals confined throughout the winter months. The worker will haul farm commodities, including grain, operate tractors and farm vehicles, handle and store grain, and move and stack hay bales as needed for farm operations. The worker will perform routine upkeep and maintenance of farm machinery and equipment used in daily operations and perform general maintenance associated with the farm and livestock operation. The worker must have a minimum of three months of prior experience operating farm vehicles for hauling purposes and handling horses.
