  Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2091 Agricultural Equipment Operator such as: Mix specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into machinery; Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions; Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery for cultivating, planting, harvesting, storing crops; Operate or tend large, high horsepower farm equipment (much of which is equipped with GPS) used in agricultural production including but not limited to tractors, Combines, Grain carts, plows, Chisels, cultivators, planters, sprayers and trucks to produce crops such as corn, beans, and small grains. Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions.; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment. Capable of Driving manual transmission in semi-truck., Comfortable with standard length grain trailers and possible times to pull a pup trailer. Drive truck to haul crops, supplies, tools from field to storage location; Attach farm implements using bolts and hand tools; Record information about crops such as yield, inputs, pests; Speak and understand English.
