Workers will maintain worker housing in good working order. These duties will include repairing doors, windows, floors, walls, HVAC, plumbing, stairs, decks, and other parts of the structures that need repair. Worker may also fix drywall and paint. Worker will work with the employer to ensure all repairs are done correctly, and timely. If a worker has a question or concern about a repair, he is to check with the farm owner or supervisor to ensure they fully understand what is expected. Workers will also maintain outside landscaping including mowing and weed eating. Worker will remove trash and other debris from outside and properly dispose of. Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn when required. Workers are expected to report to work wearing durable work clothing and boots. Those dressed inappropriately for farm tasks will not be permitted to begin work. All tasks will be carried out under the direction and close supervision of the farm owner, supervisor, or a designated employee. Workers must perform duties promptly and proficiently, with regular monitoring to ensure compliance with instructions and quality standards. General Clean-up of Worksite Property and Housing for Harvesting Workers: Workers on physical work restrictions or when Maintenance work is not available may be required to perform miscellaneous clean-up work on worksite property, on structures utilized in the operation, and on housing for harvesting workers.
