- Offer description:
Workers will perform seasonal agricultural work related to the harvesting of corn and soybeans during the harvest season. Duties include operating GPS equipped tractors, combines, and other agricultural equipment used in harvesting crops and performing fall tillage operations. Workers will harvest mature crops, complete post harvest tillage, transport grain from the field using agricultural equipment, and assist with grain handling and storage as needed during the seasonal production cycle. Workers will conduct routine pre operation and post operation inspections of equipment, monitor machine performance during field operations, perform routine servicing including fuelling, lubricating, cleaning, and minor adjustments, and promptly report mechanical issues requiring repair. Workers will safely and efficiently operate agricultural equipment while maintaining the quality of harvested crops and following established operating procedures. Duties are temporary, agricultural in nature, and directly related to the timely completion of the corn and soybean harvest and post harvest field operations. Employees will be provided with adequate breaks, including meal and rest periods, consistent with applicable Federal, State, and local law, during the course of each workday.
