We are needing assistance with all job duties associated with baling corn and milo stocks after the grain has been harvested. Worker will perform duties related to SOC code 45-2091-Agricultural Equipment Operators. Job duties will include but not be limited to: Operating tractors, balers, rakes, hay trailers, trucks, swathers/windrowers, and other equipment used to cut, bale, and move hay most of which is equipped with GPS. Observe and listen to machinery operations to detect equipment malfunctions. Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery. Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Attach and detach farm implements using bolts and hand tools. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm worker. Worker will be expected to grease equipment, blow out air filters, load net/twine into balers, change swather knives, adjust conditioner rolls. Move bales from the field, load trailers, and deliver to haystacks/yards. Workers may also need to move snow and ice so that bales can be moved. We bale stocks through the winter months, and worker will need to work in extreme temperatures that may be below freezing. Must speak and understand English.
