Crops: Strawberries Harvesting, crop work and other greenhouse-related activities, cleaning and small maintenance and repairs of growing and packing equipment, pest management control, packing freshly-harvested berries and other packhouse-related activities, internal logistics related to the harvesting and packing of berries. Job Description add-in for ETA Form 790: All workers will receive on-the-job training on the quality standards required for the position, including: missed fruit, harvesting technique, sorting/mis-sorting, bruising, fruit size, and fruit maturity expectations. Workers’ performance will be audited by the employer on meeting these quality standards and assigned a quality ranking of one to five. In addition, workers will be evaluated on their speed. For combing, workers must process a minimum of 1300 plants/hour. For harvesting, once workers have completed 80 hours of harvesting, they must harvest at least 20 kg/hour. After 120 hours of harvesting, workers must harvest at least 30 kg/hour. When harvesting in one punnet, the harvest rate will increase by 5 kg/hour above the requirements stated above. Workers must not have more than 15 mis-clicks or mis-registrations in the Priva system in any given week. In addition to the specific quality and speed standards training that will be provided post-hire, workers must demonstrate bona fide effort to meet the employer’s work standards. Work/Job Specification Definitions: a) Sloppy: not careful or neat: showing a lack of care, attention, or effort. b) bona fide: made with earnest intent c) earnest: serious in intention, purpose, or effort: d) sustained: continuing for an extended period or without interruption. e) endurance: the ability or strength to continue or last, especially despite fatigue, stress, or other adverse conditions. f) efficiently: performing or functioning in the best possible manner with the least waste of time and effort. g) consistently: same way over a long period of time. Bona fide, in this context, means made with earnest intent and keeping with fellow workers. This job order covers multiple worksites with staggered start dates. Workers will perform the same job duties described in this order at the worksites listed in Section F. Twenty (20) workers will begin employment at Bosch Berrier on September 8, 2026. Forty-five (45) additional workers will begin employment on September 21, 2026. Ten (10) workers will begin on November 11, 2026 and an additional ten (10) workers will begin March 29, 2027. Each worker will be employed for the full period of employment applicable from their individual start date, as indicated in Section A.5. Exact start dates may vary slightly depending on operational needs, weather conditions, and worker arrival schedules, but all workers are guaranteed employment for the full period once their work begins.
