  Duties may include: Assist with daily farm functions including but not limited to the following: Operate various farm equipment (combines, tractors, trucks, etc.) for planting, spraying, cultivating, fertilizing, and harvesting of crops. Load/unload trucks. Grain handling, hauling farm commodities. Maintain/repair machinery. Ground maintenance on farm and/or housing, i.e. weed eating, mowing. Maintain/clean facilities. Other miscellaneous duties assigned. Crops: spring wheat, soybeans, sugar beets, sunflowers. One hour lunch break offered. May be required to work additional and longer hours in October during sugar beet harvest & other related Ag Equipment Operator activities as per SOC/OES 45-2091 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work. The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate.
