• Plant, cultivate, and harvest flowers and bulbs in field conditions • Weed control of 350-acre farm • Carefully excavate bulbs from the soil, ensuring minimal damage. • Clean bulbs and assess their quality, selecting only healthy specimens. • Hand plant a variety of field grown horticultural crops • Move into the greenhouse during the months of November – March to assist with planting and harvesting of our hydroponic tulips. • Operate farm machinery such as tractors, planters, and irrigation systems efficiently and safely. • Perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, lifting, and walking long distances across the field. • Work collaboratively within a team during busy periods and adapt to varying weather conditions. • Apply horticultural principles and sustainable agricultural methods to maximize crop health and yield. • Follow safety practices and demonstrate attention to detail in all field activities. • Show passion for flowers and pride in producing exceptional blooms for market or distribution. In addition to hands-on work with the flowers, you must possess working knowledge or tulip bulb net planter and harvester. Work in all weather conditions. Candidates should have a solid understanding of horticultural principles, a readiness for physically demanding tasks such as bending, lifting, and walking long distances, and a collaborative spirit for working within a team during busy periods. Required qualifications include prior experience in large-scale flower or crop farming, as well as 6 months of experience working with tulip and bulbs, knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly agricultural methods, and a demonstrated commitment to safety practices in all field activities.
