e need seasonal employees to assist with our crop production season of corn, wheat, sorghum, millet, soybeans, and sunflowers. Employees will assist with all aspects of planting, cultivating, maintaining, harvesting, and hauling these crops, as well as perform seasonal livestock duties as assigned. Job duties include preparing fields for planting; attaching farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, and harvesters to tractors using bolts and hand tools; operating tractors, planters, sprayers, seed drills, manure spreaders, combines, irrigation equipment, and other farm machinery; engaging in planting, weeding, spraying, cultivating, and harvesting activities; applying fertilizers and pesticides to control insects, weeds, fungus, and diseases; loading and unloading crops and materials manually or using conveyors, forklifts, transfer augers, and hand trucks; loading hoppers, containers, and conveyors; manipulating controls to set, activate, and adjust machinery; observing and listening to equipment to detect malfunctions; driving farm semi-trucks to haul crops, supplies, and tools; inspecting, adjusting, and completing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment; recording agricultural data; and performing mechanical repair and maintenance duties. Employees will perform all duties as assigned to support the employer's seasonal crop and livestock operations. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer.
