- Offer description:
We are seeking dependable seasonal agricultural workers to assist with all phases of crop production, including planting, cultivation, harvesting, and post-harvest operations for corn, wheat, beans, soybeans, potatoes, green beans, sweet potatoes, and corn silage. Employees will prepare fields and work areas for planting, assist with planting, weeding, spraying, harvesting, grading, sorting, inspecting, and storing crops, and help move products and materials safely and efficiently throughout the operation. Duties include examining crops and materials to ensure quality standards are met, labeling containers, recording product and packaging information, guiding products on conveyors, removing damaged materials and debris, and maintaining clean and orderly equipment, facilities, work areas, and grounds. Workers may also assist with inventory-related tasks and communicate material and workflow needs to supervisors. The busiest season typically runs from March through October, and employees should be prepared to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while performing repetitive and physically demanding tasks. Applicants must be able to follow instructions, work effectively as part of a team, and maintain quality and safety standards. Previous agricultural, harvesting, grading, or sorting experience is beneficial but not required unless otherwise specified. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer. Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid at the previous season’s rate if that rate exceeds the current published rate.
