Operate equipment and transport workers. Drivers responsible for transporting workers will be required to have a valid and unexpired Federal Farm Labor Contractor or Federal Farm Labor Contractor Employee Registration with driving authorization. Will be responsible for operating the vehicles used to move crops on the farm. Must be able to safely operate the buses that are used to transport workers to and from work sites. Should be able to provide proof of accident-free driving record and background. Workers may be requested to submit to random drug or alcohol tests at no cost to the worker. Failure to comply with the request or testing positive may result in immediate termination. Drug testing and background checks may be performed during the interview process. Must be able to work long hours, where conditions may be hot and humid, the majority of the workday is spent on ones feet. Must be able to lift 68lbs. to shoulder height repetitively throughout the workday and able to lift and carry 68lbs. Use of personal cell phone or other personal electronic device during working hours strictly prohibited except for work-related calls or emergencies and violation may result in immediate termination. Essential job functions may include: • Transport workers to and from Company Facility Location(s). • Performing all work activities safely • Application of appropriate tags and/or labels to seed packages as applicable • Lifting and stacking materials up to 68 lbs. for extended periods of time • Standing to fill and close packaged product for extended periods of time • Successfully pass the forklift training and receive an operator's certificate • Remove package product from line and deliver to warehouse via forklift • Safely climb stairs and/or ladders • Thorough cleaning of all packaging equipment to maintain product integrity • Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area • Prepare and clean (if needed) packaging materials to be used according to customer specifications. This would include boxes, bulk bags, and paper bags. • Operating fork truck to dump packaged material for true bulk loads. • Open box slide gate or untie MB bag to dump true bulk loads. • Assist with clean-ups in all areas.
