- Offer description:
Workers will assist with seasonal seed and grain farming operations on a seed farm located in Walsh County, North Dakota. The work supports the preparation of agricultural seed and farm operations required before and during the planting season. Workers will operate and perform basic servicing on farm machinery including tractors (including articulating tractors), combines, grain carts, planters, air drills, sprayers, skid steers, and telehandlers used in planting, field preparation, crop care, and harvest activities. Duties include assisting with planting operations, irrigation setup, crop scouting, pesticide application, harvest activities, seed cleaning, and transporting grain, seed, or supplies to storage areas or other farm locations. Workers will perform general agricultural labor such as loading and unloading seed, grain, equipment, and materials; cleaning and maintaining farm facilities; and assisting with seed handling and preparation required for planting activities. Workers may assist with routine equipment maintenance including checking fluids, lubrication, and minor repairs under supervision to ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently. Additional tasks include assisting with deliveries, organizing materials, maintaining work areas, and supporting overall farm operations during the seasonal period. All duties must be performed carefully and safely to avoid damage to machinery, crops, seed product, and farm property while following employer instructions and maintaining expected productivity standards. Employees will be provided with adequate breaks, including meal and rest periods, consistent with applicable Federal, State, and local law, during the course of each workday.
