Manual duties include hand tool use; greasing, cleaning, and pressure washing equipment; climbing ladders; lifting materials; shoveling; sweeping; crate repair; packing line work; and general maintenance. Employees must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel for logging crop intake, bin and truck weights, and maintaining inventory and traceability. Per the Farm Laborer Fair Labor Protections Act, effective January 1, 2026, all farmworkers, including H-2A foreign guest workers, will earn one and a half times the regular rate for all hours worked over 52, and for any hours voluntarily worked on a workers day of rest.
