FARM LABORER: Worker will be required to complete the following activities as directed by supervisor: general farm labor; thinning; lay plastic field mulch, tunnel assembly and disassembly, repair damaged plastic; install stakes and apply tying twine, mechanical and hand planting of plugs and seeds; hoe or pull weeds; trunk painting; mowing; hand fertilizing; thinning; pruning; grafting; hand harvest to quality standards of Apples, Cherries, Cut Flowers, Peaches, Pears, Plums, Pumpkins, and Strawberries. Worker will drive Employer-provided vehicle to and from the worksite and to locations within 30 miles; operate tractors or other agricultural equipment such as forklifts; spray crops with tractor and spray attachment; routine general repairs and maintenance of farm equipment and farm buildings; complete harvest preparation tasks such as spreading liners in bins, wash and sanitize harvesting bins or repair harvesting bins; Worker will maintain count/weight records; lay mylar in orchard; assist in trellis system install, maintenance and removal; repair deer fence; irrigation systems install and maintenance; repair drain tile; complete general hand tasks to include picking up garbage around the orchard, picking up sticks, rocks and brush; deter wildlife with pheromone ties; conduct various field and farm clean up tasks at end of season.
