We are a 1,800 acre organic crop farm with flood and pivot irrigation. We run late model Case IH machines. We have a seasonal goat dairy and make cheese. We have a chicken layer barn and mix our own feed as use our farm products to mix for several others. We also run 100 beef cows. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: attach/detach implements; clean work areas; construct facilities; haul and spread materials such as but not limited to fertilizer to condition the soil; load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations or facilities; load and unload materials and commodities; load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields; maintain grounds and landscaping; repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; tend to livestock by feeding, medicating, general care, grading, sorting, working, placing identification on, or relocating; tilling soil, transplanting, weeding, thinning, pruning crops; use hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, and knives; use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools; weigh containers and record weights and identifying information. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: augers, bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, bailers and other hay equipment, GPS guidance systems, irrigation equipment, manure spreading equipment, mowers and other landscaping equipment, pickups, cars, etc, semi trucks, skid steers, swathers, bailers, and other hay equipment, tillage equipment, tractor/trailer combinations, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: cattle, chickens, corn, hay, goats, and cheese. English proficiency not required but workers must be able to understand basic commands in English.
