  Crops: Lettuce, kale, peas, cilantro, zucchini, radish, and other vegetables. The agricultural position involves tasks related to the planting, transplanting, cultivating, harvesting, and field packing of fruits and vegetables. This work may require standing, walking, squatting, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds for extended periods while working outdoors. The worker will sort/grade produce by size/color/maturity per supervisor instructions and established standards. Additional duties include applying pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides using backpack sprayers or tractor-mounted sprayers while strictly following all safety regulations. Workers will also perform field and property maintenance, including mowing grass and removing weeds from fields and other areas of the farm. Maintaining farm roads and drainage ditches is also required. This position requires adherence to important food safety and quality standard operating procedures, as well as the ability to work quickly and consistently alongside coworkers. Employees must maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude while prioritizing the safety and health of coworkers and the consumers who will purchase and consume the fresh produce grown, harvested, packed, and shipped from the farm.
