- Offer description:
SHUTTLE DRIVER: Employee may drive a 78-passenger bus or a 20-passenger minibus to transport workers over the road. Employee must possess a valid Class B CDL with a passenger endorsement and a clean driving record. The company’s policy indicates a ‘clean driving record’ means the worker has maintained a safe driving history during the relevant review period, generally the prior 3 years, with no at-fault accidents and no major moving violations during that time. Minor traffic citations that occurred outside that review period may not be disqualifying. For example, a single speeding ticket from more than four years ago may still be considered consistent with a clean driving record, while a ticket issued within the last year generally would not. Employee picks up workers from different housing sites/pickup points and takes them to an assigned work site and, at the end of the workday, takes them back to the housing site/pickup point. Employee will also work in the assigned crew at the assigned worksite. Employee will transport workers once a week to local grocery stores or businesses to run errands. Employee will obey all traffic laws and comply with state and federal regulations. Employee will follow procedures and regulations to ensure passenger safety. Employee will perform regular maintenance inspections to ensure the vehicle is working properly and report any issues promptly. Employee will keep the vehicle clean. In accordance with company policy, employees may be requested to submit to random drug or alcohol tests at no cost to the worker. Failure to comply with the request or testing positive may result in immediate termination. The Employer attests that all workers will be properly trained in the Worker Protections Standard (WPS) by qualified WPS trainers who have completed an EPA-approved Train-the-Trainer course pursuant to the Oregon Department of Agriculture
