Job entails work on a row crop farm. This is a SKILL LEVEL II position as it requires at least 3 months of experience with agricultural equipment operation, irrigation and general farm labor. Workers will be required to work independently and with minimal supervision after given work tasks for the day This job order has multiple dates of need: 05/02/2026 13 workers 07/01/2026 6 workers The exact start date and/or number of workers may vary based on weather, crop conditions or other factors Row Crop Vegetables Plant, maintain and harvest row crop vegetables such as beans, corn, carrots, carrots seed, onions, peppers, lettuce seed, beets, zucchini, squash, watermelon, tomatoes, eggplant, pumpkins, flowers, broccoli, cauliflower and cucumber and berries by machine, hand or using a knife, according to method appropriate for type of vegetable. Ascertains picking assignment from supervisor and places work aids, such as bucket, bins and tie wires, in assigned area. Picks vegetable from plant or soil or cuts vegetable from stem or root. Puts vegetable in container or lays bunches of vegetables along row for collection. Carries containers or armloads of bunched vegetables to collection point. Loads vegetables on to trucks. Also includes wheat and hay harvest duties. All other duties assigned under this order will be both those duties of Agricultural Equipment Operator and Farm Worker and Laborer Crop, Nursery and Greenhouse, under the Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Employment Statistics Standard Occupational Classification Codes 45-2091 and 45-2092. The lifting requirement for this position is 60 pounds. Workers that possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable may drive vehicles to transport crops, equipment, supplies, and workers.
