Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation equipment; Inform farm managers of crop progress; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, and harvest crops; Load inputs and drive trucks to transport to farmstead and fields, load employer commodities and drive trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, stores, piles/bags in close proximity to the farm; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Haul and spread manure, fertilizer, and other materials to condition soil; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Attach implements using hand tools; Weigh containers and record weights and identifying information; Feed and hay from field to storage locations and facilities; Clean and move manure and slurry from pens; Although workers are allowed to possess a CDL, such a license is not required for the job.
