We are a cattle & small grain farm. Our main focus is cattle & we also combine 1100-1300 total acres of small grains & corn per year. We usually hay about 1500+ acres per year. Our equipment is primarily later modeled JD machines. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: attach/detach implements; be able to handle working in high humidity; direct and monitor work during planting and harvesting; load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations or facilities; load and unload materials and commodities; load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields; maintain grounds and landscaping; maintain inventory; mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery; operate self propelled machinery; repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; set up repair, maintain, and operate specialized equipment; tend to livestock by feeding, medicating, general care, grading, sorting, working, placing identification on, or relocating; use hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, and knives; use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools; work in extreme temperatures. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: air seeders, augers, bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, bailers and other hay equipment, combines or other harvesting equipment, GPS guidance systems, grain carts, manure spreading equipment, mowers and other landscaping equipment, pickups, cars, etc, self-propelled machinery, semi trucks, skid steers, straight frame trucks, swathers, bailers, and other hay equipment, tractor/trailer combinations, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: cattle, corn, hay, silage, wheat. Must speak and understand English.
