• Offer description:

  Growing, harvesting and packing shellfish. Assist with shellfish and oyster farming. Harvest, wash, clean, sort oysters through their grow out. Cul by size and place in correct bags, trays, tanks, and coolers. May set up, transport, and operate equipment such as but not limited to, small boat, vehicles, pallet jacks, carts. Assist with loading and unloading shellfish on loading dock, walk-in coolers, depuration tanks, growing cages, boats or trucks. After training select employees may drive carts on premises. After direction but be able to maintain, clean, organize and properly store all work tools, areas and equipment so it is stacked and ready for the next day. Must have attention to detail; and must be able to work at rapid pace and successfully perform all job duties and tasks to the supervisors requirements. Hand pack shellfish into appropriate bags, trays, boxes, and crates. Clean up, sanitizing, prepare new boxes, strap and apply tags to boxes and bags, stacking, sorting products in preparation for market. Driver's license is helpful but not required. 1 month experience in duties listed required. Wage is $15.10, Workers with 1 year tenure will receive $18.83 per hr
