  Preparing soil, planting, weeding, thinning, irrigating, mowing, harvesting, grading, and packing various outdoor crops such as, but not limited to, vegetables, turf & various grains. It is necessary to accomplish these tasks, determined by weather conditions. Some aspects of the job may require up to 50lbs. Must be able to set up, drive, operate equipment and farm vehicles to haul crops, supplies, tools for agricultural purposes, and repair farm machinery and irrigation. Operate forklift and driver's license helpful but not required. Farm hand tools include, but are not limited to, power and manual pruners, weeders, shovel, hoe. Must be able to load and unload trailer trucks filled with vegetables in an orderly manner, under direct supervision. These jobs are performed outdoors and in all weather conditions. May need to wear protective equipment including, but not limited to, respirators and rain gear. Minimum of 30 days experience required. 5 years tenure wage $18.83
