We need seasonal employees to assist with our hay and livestock operation. Employees will perform all seasonal job duties associated with this operation, including preparing fields for planting; attaching and operating farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, harvesters, tractors, planters, seed drills, and irrigation equipment; planting trees; engaging in planting, weeding, spraying, and harvesting activities; applying fertilizers and pesticides; irrigating soil using portable pipes, ditch systems, pumps, and pivot irrigation systems; loading and unloading crops and materials manually or using conveyors, hand trucks, forklifts, or transfer augers; adjusting and maintaining machinery; mixing and applying materials and chemicals; monitoring equipment operation and completing routine maintenance and repairs; transporting crops, supplies, and equipment; cleaning and maintaining livestock stalls, pens, and equipment; feeding, watering, herding, and caring for livestock; examining animals for illness, injury, disease, and physical condition; assisting with livestock breeding, artificial insemination, and animal births; administering medications and vaccinations; segregating and shifting livestock between grazing areas; spraying or bathing livestock; maintaining and repairing buildings, fences, and farm infrastructure; transporting livestock; inspecting irrigation water flow pursuant to water rights; maintaining the appearance of the home and yard including landscaping and lawn mowing up to twice weekly during summer months; and performing temporary fence construction and repair, along with other general farm and ranch duties as assigned. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer.
