Workers will assist with general grain farm labor using a variety of agricultural equipment and tools. Duties include field preparation by helping operate tractors and implements to plow, till, and prepare soil for planting. Workers will support seeding operations using planters and assist with the application of fertilizer and crop inputs under supervision. During the growing season, workers will help monitor crops and perform general field maintenance, including rock picking and minor repairs to field areas. Basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning and greasing equipment will be assigned. Workers will assist with harvest by operating or riding along on combines, grain carts, and trucks to move crops from fields to storage. Tasks include loading and unloading grain, cleaning equipment, and maintaining work areas. Post-harvest work includes helping with tillage and field clean-up. Workers may also support with snow removal or basic farm tasks as needed. All work is outdoors and may vary depending on weather and crop conditions. Training will be provided. Workers must follow instructions, work safely, and complete tasks efficiently as part of a small team. No experience is required, but the ability to learn to operate machinery and perform physical labor is essential for success in this role. Employees will be provided with adequate breaks, including meal and rest periods, consistent with applicable Federal, State, and local law, during the course of each workday.
