Field Workers: Forklift Operator to perform the following duties in conjunction and incidental to the farming operations, near and adjacent to the farm: Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items. Transporting materials to different locations within the facility. Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency by identifying damages and shortages. Securing loads to the machine before transportation. Operating and managing technical equipment. Managing inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipment. Picking and wrapping orders for shipment. Must always maintain audit-ready sanitation standards in the work environment in all areas of the warehouse. Identifying workplace safety hazards. Adhering to safety management standards. Adhering to production schedules. Ensure that all Food Safety policies are followed. Ensure that all Safety procedures are followed to reduce the risk of any type of injury to either the employee or others. Reports all safety problems, incidents and injuries to foreperson immediately. Comply with all Company policies. Work will be performed at a cooling facility, which is located within 8 miles of the ranch located at Williams Rd. and Boronda Rd. in Salinas. *Even locations that are near or adjacent to the farm are considered on the farm. See Brennan v. Sugar Cane Growers Cooperative of Florida, 486 F.2d. 1006, 1011 (5th Cir. 1974). (Camp cooking facilities were 15 miles from the farm.)
