We are a 4000 acre wheat, milo, and cotton farming operation and also a custom harvesting operation which travels from Texas all states between to North Dakota. We primarily grow the crops mentioned above as well as we have a cattle operation of 50 head of registered cattle. We have late model John Deere equipment such as combines, tractors, cotton Strippers, and Peterbilt Trucks. We also custom harvest wheat, corn, milo, soybeans, peas, cotton sunflowers, and canola. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: apply products such as fertilizers, pesticides, growth inhibitors, etc; attach/detach implements; be able to handle working in high humidity; clean work areas; direct and monitor work during planting and harvesting; guide products on conveyors to regulate flow through machines; haul and spread materials such as but not limited to fertilizer to condition the soil; load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations or facilities; load and unload materials and commodities; load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields; maintain grounds and landscaping; maintain inventory; mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery; operate self propelled machinery; record information about crops; repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; set up repair, maintain, and operate specialized equipment; tend to livestock by feeding, medicating, general care, grading, sorting, working, placing identification on, or relocating; tilling soil, transplanting, weeding, thinning, pruning crops; trap and destroy pests; use hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, and knives; use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools; weigh containers and record weights and identifying information; work in extreme temperatures. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: air seeders, augers, bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, bailers and other hay equipment, combines or other harvesting equipment, cotton module trucks, cotton stripper/picker, dirt moving equipment, GPS guidance systems, grain carts, forklift, irrigation equipment, mowers and other landscaping equipment, pickups, cars, etc, planters, self-propelled machinery, semi trucks, skid steers, sprayers, spreaders, straight frame trucks, swathers, bailers, and other hay equipment, tillage equipment, tractor/trailer combinations, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: cattle, canola, corn, cotton, grain sorghum, hay, soybeans, wheat. While a CDL is not required for the job, some workers hired under this job order may already possess or obtain one. Must speak and understand English.
