This application encompasses general farm and harvest labor on a row crop farm. This is a Skill Level II requires a minimum of 3 months of general farm labor experience. The lifting requirement for this position is 60 pounds. All other duties assigned under this order will be those duties of Farm Worker and Laborer Crop, Nursery and Greenhouse, under the Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Employment Statistics Standard Occupational Classification Code 45-2092 and Agricultural Equipment Operator 45-2091. The employer may pay a higher hourly wage based on tenured performance. Irrigation duties will include: - Digging ditch (must be able to use a shovel continuously for an extended period of time) - Digging corrugates (must be able to use a shovel continuously for an extended period of time) - - Sprinkler Equipment (must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. over uneven terrain. for multiple hours per day, need to be able to connect and disconnect pipe, repair sprinkler system, flushing pipe, and remove system) - Drip Equipment (must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs must be able to work around equipment, installation, removal of equipment and drip tape and repair of drip system)
