Ag Equipment Operator: Worker will be required to complete the following activities as directed by supervisor: operate farm equipment including forklifts, tractors, tractors with attachments, harvesters, and trucks to complete farm tasks; spray crops with tractor and spray attachment; load, haul, and unload harvested crops on farm or to employer-owned storage; inspect, maintain, prepare and repair farm equipment; drive Employer-provided vehicle to and from the worksite and to locations within 30 miles; wash, sanitize, and repair harvesting bins; repair deer fence and drain tile; install or repair irrigation systems; maintain grounds, landscaping, and farm buildings; complete general farm, vineyard and orchard maintenance; weeding; shoveling; hoeing; mowing; hand fertilizing; thinning; pruning; grafting; tying limbs; perform vineyard canopy management; string lines for hop growth; planting fruit trees, vineyards and hop yards; conduct farm building repairs; complete harvest preparation tasks such as spreading liners in bins, wash and sanitize harvesting bins or repair harvesting bins; assist in hauling fruit and juice during and after harvesting; clean and sanitize grape and juice vessels; hand harvest apples, grapes and hops to quality standards; laying mylar; construct and maintain trellis; general maintenance and repair of bird netting and deer fencing; complete general hand tasks to include picking up garbage around the orchard, removing old trees/vines, string and wire from trellis and orchard blocks; picking up sticks, rocks and brush throughout the farms; conduct various field and farm clean up tasks at end of season.
