Perform ag related duties including planting, spraying, watering, and harvesting cotton, corn, soybeans, flowers and pumpkins. Will help care and tend to field research plots, including driving a tractor to plant and spray, hand planting, hand weeding, watering and harvesting. Perform difficult manual labor involving picking, cutting, lifting, loading and unloading flowers and small and large pumpkins. Pick, lift and load an average of 60 lb. pumpkins all day working at a reasonable pace. Must be able to bend and stoop for extended amounts of time to pick weeds, load bins and trailers with pumpkins, pick up bags of fertilizer, etc. Work outdoors in heat, cold or rain. Help maintain grounds and equipment and keep work area clean of debris. Alternate work may include mowing, weeding, maintenance and/or ditch digging or other general farm duties. Must have verifiable documentation of at least 1 month of tractor driving experience. Workers who hold a valid U.S. driver's license may deliver our products at market locations within 120-mile radius of our location and/or transport workers. Workers are expected to possess the skills to work in the production of farm crops and pumpkins. All workers are to adhere to all safety rules as instructed by the supervisor. Workers must take care to handle tools, equipment and product in a manner to avoid injury or damage.
